Visits with family and friends...

Aunt's Amy and Julia traveled all the way from California and Colorado to spend two weeks with us and new baby Dylan. It was wonderful to have the help and the company. We miss you guys and love seeing you. Lots of visits with family and good friends as well.

Dylan Jack Hudson Sutter

Hello! Dylan is finally here. Just before we planned to have Brooke induced, Dylan decided he was ready to join the world. Due date May 4th but arrived May 12th, 2009. Born at 6:13am after about 18 hours of labor (most at home) and about 10 min of pushing. Brooke is healing up well. Dylan is a big boy... 8lbs 14oz and 21 1/2 inches long. He is healthy and laid back. We brought him home from the hospital on Thursday May 14th. It was an emotional few days. We love Brooke very much and it was hard to see her hurting. We have stayed in contact to update her about him and that seems to help the healing all around. I will keep updating pictures as I can. We are figuring out the night routine. :) All a little tired. Kaleb is doing great as a big brother and invites people over to "pet" his new brother. Thank you all for the love and support you have given us through the last few months. We are a happy and blessed family!

Welcome little man!

This is actually a yawn but it looks like he is screaming at us. :)

Kaleb is 4 years old today!

Happy Birthday to our little boy!! We had a great time with all of the grandparents and cousin Jane. It was a cold day for a cook out, but we had burger's from the grill and some yummy cake and ice cream. Daddy made the cake. :) Kaleb got all kind of great gifts. A new big boy bike, some soccer gear, legos' a zoo pass and a kids digital camera. He was excited about it all and loved being the star of the day! Happy Birthday little man, we love you so much!

It was not a nice day for riding outside, but Kaleb took a few laps around the table with his new bike.

Sharing with cousing Jane, for the most part. She put everything in her mouth and he thought that was gross. So funny that it was really not to long ago that he was doing the same thing. :)

Where have the last 4 years gone...

It's hard to imaging that 4 years have gone by so fast. We met Kaleb's birth mom, Tracy just days before he was born and our adventure into parenting began. Kaleb was born at the Ionia Hospital Tues. March 29th 2005. We brought him home Friday April 1st and on Feb 1st 2006 the adoption became official. Kaleb has been our dream come true. He is a wonderful child full of energy and enthusiasm. He is interested in figuring out how and why things work and he keeps us on our toes. We LOVE him so much and are so proud of the little boy he has become. Every year brings new challenges and experiences. We love you Kaleb Sutter, our dear little boy! or
"Sweet Prince" as your daddy likes to say.

Welcome to the world little Kaleb

New baby coming... here's the room

Outside with friends

We are sure hoping that this was our last snowy play day. As much fun as the kids had playing in the snow and sledding, we are all kind of getting over the cold. Spring is near and that means more outside fun. It was a great day for Kaleb to spend so time with his neighborhood pals, Levi and Lainy. Good friends, good times!
