Drummond Island

These are pictures from our cottage. It was right on Lake Huron on Sturgeon Bay. We stayed in the Sturgeon Bay Chalet. Hot tub on the desk, a dock for throwing stones and lots of places to explore by foot or our bikes. It was a great vacation and Kaleb, the dogs and Mom and Dad loved it!
First time checking out our dock
Water view of the cottage. We had a fire pit, hot tub and were right on the water.
Relaxing the first night
One of many wonderful sun sets on the bay.

Sweet Baby Jane

Jane Marie Wood ~ born 6/18/08 at 11:27am 7lbs 4 oz 20 inches

Theresa, Tony's sister, and her boyfriend Pete welcomed their daughter Jane into the world on June 18th. Tony and I (uncle and aunt) were so excited to be close when baby Jane arrived and to be able to visit so soon. We headed over the morning after the concert to snuggle, kiss and say hello to the newest addition to the Sutter Family. Welcome baby Jane!

Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson show at DTE. It was wonderful and we had a great time. Mason Jennings opened, Jack sounded amazing and no one threw up. Very successful concert experience. Megan rolled down the hill at the end and made $1. Good times!

Relay for Life- Feet's for Teats Team

Kaleb and I joined our friend Annette's Relay for life team called "Feet's for Teats" on Friday 6/13- Sat. 6/14. The walk was from noon until noon. We had teams members on the track all 24 hours. Our team raised $3400.00+ for cancer research and was the voted team with most spirit. Kaleb walked the track, rode in the stroller and then decided to try out running. He ran around the track 6 times, that's a mile and a half. What a trouper! There was a survivor march, an illuminate ceremony in which bags were put out with candles in honor or in memory of friends or family effected by cancer (Kaleb's bag was in honor of his teach Miss Cindy) and lots of activities, and music. It was a wonderful way to spend the day, get some exercise and support our friend Annette, who is a survivor herself. We look forward to next year and would love any help, participation or support!
