Binder Park Zoo with the Grandma's

We spent a beautiful afternoon at Binder Park Zoo to celebrate Grandma Sophies Birthday. We took a train ride, Kaleb went on the carrousel and we fed the giraffes. Great fun. It's amazing how close we were to a pretty cool creature. What fun!

Possible Halloween costumes

We found some costumes at Once upon a Child and thought we would try them on and practice trick or treating. Kaleb liked Clifford the best, so he will be the Big Red Dog. More pictures to follow...

Tony's camping adventure...

Tony and the dogs took a 20 Mile hike through the North Country Trail. They planned to be gone Friday through Sunday, but made it back Saturday evening. Phoenix, Haylee and Daddy were all very tired but had a wonderful time. Here are some of the trip pictures...

End of the summer party.

Keri and Jeff, friends from work, hosted an end of the summer party. What a bummer to think that summer is done, but what a fun way to celebrate the new season! We played beer pong and tried out our rock star abilities.

Childrens Museum

Tony and I took Kaleb, Micah and Avery to the Museum for the morning. It's starting to get cooler outside and we had a rainy day. The kids all had a good time, but of course no great pictures of all three at one time.

Wheatland 2008

We had a big group of folks at Wheatland this year. Both of my parents and their significant others, Megan and Kaya and some friends all caravaned up together and camped together. I had a fender bender on the way up, but we were all find and the car was able to get us there. Kaleb and Kaya loved dancing and playing on kids hill. Kaya was a dream all weekend, Kaleb struggled a bit. Sometimes go with the flow works and some times it does not. The last picture about sums up how I (and Kaya obviously ) felt by the end of the weekend. All in all a fun weekend but had some bumps (literal) along the way. :)

Kirk Park

We spent our last beach day at Kirk Park and had a wonderful time. The water was warm and the sun was out. Good times.

Kaleb's hair is all gone

I cut Kaleb's hair after picking him up from daycare two days in a row with a ponytail in his hair. It wasn't just a back pony but a on top of the head flupy kind. His hair was in his eyes and needed a trim. I always get a little sad when his hair gets cut. He likes his long flowing locks but he looks like a little man now and seems to like the new style just fine.
