Ice skating

We took Kaleb to Rosa Parks Circle for his first ice skating experience. It was a little hard to get used to skates and the ice, but the metal structure helped him a lot. It's been a while for Tony and I too and we were all a little soar afterwards from using muscles we have not used in a while. We are loving sharing all of these firsts with Kaleb!

Our New Friend Brooke

We have be match with a new birth mom, Brooke. She is a wonderful person and we are very excited about the upcoming arival of baby "Dylan" in early May. We will keep you posted as things get closer. Please keep our family and Brooke in your prayers.

Weekend fun!

We brought Kaleb Sledding for the first time. He was a little nervous at first but after once down the hill he wanted to do it alone. We had to talk him into letting us come along for a ride after that. What a big boy! It's fun sharing in all of these great firsts this year. Soccer starts in April...

The goofy glasses are a daddy creation while Kaleb and Tony played with Tinker Toys.

Remodling at our rental

Our floors at our rental were in desperate need of a face lift. It was a lot more work then I thought (Tony warned me about it) but in the end, refinishing the hardwood floors was worth it. It looks way better. We have also repainted the living room, bedrooms and hallway in tan. Boring I know but not everyone loves a rainbow house. :)

Mega 80's

We picked a snow stormy night for a night out on the town. A group of friends of mine from work, met up at San Chez decked out in 80's gear for a few drinks before going to the intersection for Mega 80's. We were a spectacle for sure. We had a blast and danced the night away!

Potty update

Kaleb is in big boy undies only now except for bedtime. He is doing really well and has had few accidents. He is even using the public bathroom if we are out at the store when the urge hits. We are so proud of our big boy!

Meeting baby Izzy!

Our good friends the Danileski's have been a part of our life, since Sarah and I became fast friends in 7th grade. Her sister Liz and husband Marcus, also good friends of ours welcomed Isabelle in the summer and we finally were able to coordinate our schedules over the Holidays to visit and meet this little darling. She is a beautiful and wonderful natured little girl, a lot like her mom. We enjoyed meeting Izzy and spending some time at the Danielski house.

New Year/Christmas with Sutter Family

We do our large Sutter gathering over the New Year Holiday so that everyone came come up. We were all crammed into Great Grandma Sutter's smaller 3 bedroom home but everyone found a comfy spot and the cousins had a blast sharing toys and catching up. It's nice to be part of a big family and to have so many people to hang out with and for Kaleb to play with.
